ADMISSION :
Admission into +2 & +3 streams will be done as per (lie Govt guidelines framed for E-Admission. The guidelines provir by Govt, from time to time will be strictly followed.
1. CORRESPONDENCE A11 correspondece in connection with admission should be be addressed to the Principal, Brundaban Subudhi College, Daspalla, Nayagarh by designation and not by name.
2. LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM Prescribed application forms for admission should reach the Principal within 15 days of publication of results of Annual qualifying Examination or before tire date notifiedby the Principal.
3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING UP OF APPLICATION FORM
a. All the required particulars must be correctly filled in hy the applicant.
b. The postal address of the candidate must be written clearly on the index and intimation cards.
c. The applicant must put his/her full signature on all Xerox copies enclosed.
d. In case of+3 degree admission Xerox copy of HSC / Board Certificate must be attached.
e. Postage stamp of Rs.6/- to be fixed on intimation letter
f. Original documents are to be produced at the time "of admission.
g. The applicant must put his/her full signature with date in the specified column in the application form.
h. The applicant / guardian or father should put his/her full signature in the undertaking format.
i. Students of this college to whom CLC etc. has not been issued must write his / her Class, Roll No. and year of admission on the top right hand comer of the application form.
Note :Furnishing incorrect information or suppression of facts shall invite penal action and render the selection invalid.
4 DOCUMENTS REQUIRED WITH APPLICATION FORMS
a.Money receipt in support of application form in original.
b. Three copies of passport size photographs and one copy of stamp size photo.
c. Attested Xerox copy of the following.
i. School/College leaving certificate.
ii.‘Mark sheet of qualifying examination.
iii.Conduct certificate issued by institution last attended.
iv. HSC certificate / Mark sheet (in case of admission into +3 stream)
v. Caste certificate from Tahasildar (in case of SC / ST applicants)
vi. Any other documents relevant for selection.
5. REJECTION OF APPLICATION FORMS :
a. Incomplete forms and forms not accompanied by required certificates / testimonials will not be considered for admission.
b. Application forms received after the last date will be summarily rejected.
6. DOCUMENTS / TESTIMONIALS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION :
l. All orginal certificates of which Xerox copies are submitted as per the list of enclosure herein.
ii. Migration Certificate if migrated from other Board/University.
iii. Identity card in case of old students who have not taken CLC.
iv. Any other documents which may be relevant and specified in the intimation letter.
7. FORFEITURE OF CLAIM OF ADMISSION :
a. A candidate shall forfeit his/her claim if he/she fails to take admission on the specified date and specified time as intimated.
b. Postal delay or non delivery is not the responsibility of the principal.
8. PRINCIPLES OF SELECTION :
a. As prescribed by the Govt merit and conduct shall be the criteria for selection. In no case admission can be claimed as a matter of right.
b. All selections are provisional.
c. The Principal reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant whose antecedents are doubtful without giving any reason thereto.
9. RESERVATION OF SEATS :
Reservation of seats shall be governed by the rules and instructions of the Govt from time to time.
10. INTIMATION REGARDING SELECTION/ADMISSION :
a. Intimation letter indicating date and time of admission' be sent to the selected candidates.
b. In case the candidates do not get their intimation letter for admission within a week after the last date of submition, they are directed to contact with the college office in person or by post.
11.PERSONAL APPEARANCE :
Candidates selected for admission are required to face an interview with the Pricipal and/or the admission commitee along with parents/natural guardian on the date of admission.
12 EXTENTION OF ADMISSION DATE :
Ordinarily no extension of time/date is allowed.However, the Principal reserves the right to extend the admission date at his discretion.
13 UNDERTAKING :
An undertaking in the body of the application form is to be signed by the student as well as father/mother/legal guardian to the effect that the student shall abide by the rulesof the college .
14 IMPORTANT INFORMATION :
1.In no ease admission can be claimed as a matter of right.
2. An Applicant may be refused admission without assigning any reason.
3.With regard to anything not covered in the prospectus/any dispute in the interpretation of rules, the decision of the principal is final & binding.
4. Any of rules and regulations in the prospectus may be changed at short notice / without any notice.
15.ACADEMIC INFORMATION :
Course of instruction/combination of subjects.
The college provides insturction in the following facilities and subjects:
Elective Subject
Sanskrit, Education, Oriya, I.P., LMiH Pass Courses
Pass Courses
Compulsory: All subjects mentioned above.
Pass Subjects: Any one of the subjects mentioned under Pass. Elective Subject: Any two subjects under Elective.
Honours Courses
Comulsory: All subjects mentioned above.
Honours Subjects: Any one of the subjects from History, Pol.Sc., Education, Philosophy.
Elective Subject: Any two subjects under Elective.
16. RESTRICTIONS :
a. The Principal reserves the right to do is allow any particular combination of students subsequently after the admission without assigning any reason.
b. No teaching provisions are available for M I.L. other than Oriya. However a student can retain respective M.I.L. of his/her choice or Alt English.
c. Teaching facility may be extended for Alternative English if minimum 24 students opt for the same.
17. HONOURS SELECTION :
a. After completion of +3 degree Arts admission the Hons, selection will be made on the basis of merit and a written test will be conducted for tire purpose.
Applicants must specify choice of subject in order of preference in the application.
b. A student securing minimum 40% marks in aggregate excluding marks sectored in 4th elective in +2 examination and 40% marks in concerned subject as applicable will be eligible for selection into honours. Weightage shall be given as per the recommendation of staffcouncil with the approval of Principal.
c. Names of selected students will be notified in the notice board in order of merit (subject wise) for admission into various honours subjects specifying a date line for payment of required fees failing which no claim for honours seats will be entertained.

18. CHANGE OFSUBJECT/SUBJECTS/COMBINATION :
Change of subject/subjects/combination shall be allowed on an application received within 15 days after the last date of-admission. No change shall be allowed thereafter. Hence due care should be taken while filling subject col. in application form.
